Mitzvah Project
Pass It On
A Mitzvah Project is a meaningful way for a bat mitzvah to engage in some of the most important values of Judaism—repairing the world (tikkun olam) and engaging in acts of loving kindness (g'milut chasadim).
For her Mitzvah Project, Paige partnered with Leveling the Playing Field to put sports equipment in the hands of those who need it most so that every child gets the chance to play.
The Donation Drive
Paige organized a community donation drive to collect soccer equipment for children in underresourced communities. Inspired by her belief in the power of sports to bring joy, build confidence, and belong to a team, she wanted more kids to experience the game she loves.
Her efforts—including partnering with local soccer clubs and sports stores, spreading the word through social media and her own connections, and collecting items from houses across a number of towns—resulted in numerous boxes of equipment being sent to communities where access to appropriate equipment is limited.
Through this project, Paige not only helped kids gain the tools to play, but also shared the deeper values of sports—connection, character, resilience, and the kind of fun that involves grass stains and high fives.
